This collection is based on rapid literature reviews, interviews, and consultations with Â鶹ÊÓƵ staff and key national stakeholders. It assesses Â鶹ÊÓƵ¡¯s long-term contributions to enhancing national social protection systems across various 'building blocks,' examining its strategic objectives and roles in different contexts and highlighting key successes, challenges, and lessons learned.
The case studies have been conducted by the Centre for Social Protection at the UK Institute of Development Studies (IDS) for Â鶹ÊÓƵ, covering fifteen countries: Bangladesh, Cambodia, the Caribbean, Colombia, Djibouti, Ecuador, Ghana, Haiti, India, Iraq, Mauritania, Pakistan, Philippines, Uganda, and Zimbabwe.
