This is an innovative teaching internship program that engages undergraduate STEM majors in immersive K-12 educational expriences designed to inspire future educators. Through a blend of pedagogy, mentorship, and field-based learning, participants collaborate with faculty and school partners to develop and deliver TEKS-aligned, inquiry-based lessons using the 5E instructional model. The program emphasizes communication, creativity, leadership, and interdisciplinary problem-solving skills essential to both engineering and education. Supported by the generosity of Becky and Chuck Mason, the initiative fosters a community of lifelong learners committed to advancing STEM education and inspiring the next generation of innovators.
