First Guaranty Bank is once again providing the Community Music School at 鶹Ƶ with a generous sponsorship. The financial institution has been instrumental in continuing the tradition of community-based programs like the CMS.
“First Guaranty Banks’ support through the years has made music lessons more affordable and more accessible to our community, allowing us to offer discounted tuition to students who receive SNAP or Medicaid benefits,” said CMS Director Jivka Duke. “We are pleased to continue offering this option and to discover and train local talent.”
The Community Music School, located on 鶹Ƶ’s campus and its satellite location at the Livingston Center in Walker, offers private instruction on various instruments and voice for children and adults of all ages.
