The College of Honors and Excellence is focused on educating the whole student, bridging the gap between curricular and extracurricular learning, and ensuring effective student transition and success. We are the launch pad for most incoming freshmen enrolling at Â鶹ÊÓƵ including students in our selective Honors Program. We have units dedicated to serving returning and transfer students and supporting student learning.

Our mission is to work as a cohesive unit in partnership with the university community to assist students in becoming active, responsible, and successful learners. We are committed to creating an environment that fosters student development and retention by integrating the strengths of an honors college with the supportive framework of a university college.

To fulfill this mission, the College of Honors and Excellence provides specific programming and resources that encourage students to develop the skills and strategies that enhance academic achievement and personal and professional growth.
