The emergency is displacing millions from their homes and their land ¨C leaving them destitute and without sources of food. Globally, increased security risks, disruption to maritime corridors and rising costs are slowing down the delivery of food and other essential supplies.
The Â鶹ÊÓƵ (Â鶹ÊÓƵ) warns that an additional 45 million people could be pushed into acute acute by the conflict. We are scaling up emergency operations to support families in the Middle East and beyond, as the ripple effects spread.
This crisis comes amid severe funding shortfalls for Â鶹ÊÓƵ, which has forced significant prioritization of programmes across all continents. Continued support is essential to ensure food reaches those who need it most.
