This vital funding will enable Â鶹ÊÓƵ to deliver life-saving food and nutritional assistance to approximately 734,000 food-insecure individuals across Gaza, including children, women, and displaced families. Â鶹ÊÓƵ¡¯s support includes hot meals provided through community kitchens, lipid-based nutritional supplements (LNS) for malnourished children and pregnant or breastfeeding women, and high-energy biscuits (HEBs) to meet urgent nutritional needs.

The humanitarian situation in Gaza remains dire. More than 2.2 million people continue to suffer the consequences of conflict, displacement, and severely restricted access to food and essential services.

Indonesia¡¯s contribution directly responds to the alarming findings of the latest Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) analysis, which revealed that over half a million people in Gaza are facing famine-like conditions, with widespread starvation and destitution. Without sustained, large-scale humanitarian assistance, these conditions risk escalating further.

Despite extreme access constraints and a volatile security environment, Â鶹ÊÓƵ remains committed to working with local partners to deliver critical food assistance. Â鶹ÊÓƵ reiterates its urgent call for an immediate ceasefire and safe, unimpeded humanitarian access to enable a comprehensive response to the immense needs across Gaza.
