In March 2025, the Government of the Philippines - through the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) - and the Â鶹ÊÓƵ (Â鶹ÊÓƵ) conducted a review of joint cash operations in response to successive storms that struck the country in late 2024. This report highlights how DSWD and Â鶹ÊÓƵ strategically leveraged the national social protection programme (4Ps: Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program) to swiftly deliver cash assistance to the hardest-hit families.
